The cellular jail construction of the prison started in 1896 and was completed in 1906. The Empire of Japan invaded the Andaman Islands in 1942 and drove the British out. The Cellular Jail then became home to British prisoners. During this period, Subhash Chandra Bose also visited the islands. Light and Sound Show is a nostalgia for the dark stories of Indian freedom struggle at the Cellular Jail. Corbyn’s Cove Beach– Corbyn’s Cove Beach in spite of being so close to the City Centre is a secluded and unspoilt beauty. It is located just 8 kilometres from Port Blair city Centre. It is a prominent sightseeing place in Andaman. The beach is blessed with a sandy gentle shore line, pleasant blue sea water and lush green coconut palms lining the to relax and enjoy the various water sports offered at the beach. The common adventure sports to be enjoyed at Corbyn’s Cove Beach are speed boat rides and boating. Enjoy speed boating and jet skiing (own coast) while at Corbyn’s Cove Beach. |
DAY 02 –Port Blair –Swaraj Dweep ![]() Today check out from Hotel (pack breakfast) and head to Haddo jetty /Phoenix Bay Jetty to catch ferry (Private cruise / SPEED BOAT) to Havelock Island, on arrival our Representative will receive you and escort you to the Hotel, after check in and little relax, trip to Radhanagar Beach (Take your swimming dress and etc. changing room & fresh water is available at radhanagar beach on chargeable)Situated on the western coast in the Havelock Island, Radhanagar Beach is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Andaman Island. With its breath-taking sunsets and mesmerizing sunrises, this beach is something straight out of a wonderland. Also known as Number 7 Beach, this beach was once titled as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ in 2004. This crescent shaped 2 kilometres long beach is known for its soft silver sand with high carrying capacity. With the pristine sand rushing beneath your feet towards the sea, and the unspoiled emerald blue waves caressing the shore, Radhanagar Beach is everything you would have ever dreamt of! Surprisingly, despite its massive popularity, Radahangar Beach is hardly ever over-crowded making it one of the famous tourist spots in Andaman. Dinner and stay overnight at the Hotel. |

Kalapathar Beach, located on Havelock Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is a serene, secluded beach known for its white sand, black rocks, and lush greenery. It’s less crowded than other popular beaches like Radhanagar and Elephant Beach. The beach is named for the large black rocks that dot the shoreline and contrast beautifully with the sand and turquoise waters. |
![]() Ross Island- Penal Colony was a convict settlement that was established in 1858 in the remote Andaman Islands by the British colonial government in India, primarily to jail a large number of prisoners from the Indian Rebellion of 1857, also known as the Indian Mutiny.. Ross Island, officially known as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island, is an island of the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The island is situated 3 km east from central Port Blair. The historic ruins are a tourist attraction. Ross Island is famous for the ruins of the Penal colony. A Penal colony is basically an exile colony for prisoners where they are kept separately. The prison here came into function primarily to jail a large number of prisoners from the rebellion of 1857. And the same Penal colony later came to be known as Kalapani.
